This website and the Off-Grid AI product are operated by Elastic Thoughts, LLC. Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Elastic Thoughts, LLC. "You" and "user" refer to the individual purchasing or using the product or website.

By visiting offgridai.io, purchasing Off-Grid AI, or using the product in any form, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or use the product.

01   What Off-Grid AI Is

Off-Grid AI is an offline software product delivered on physical media (USB drive). It is a retrieval-first knowledge system that synthesizes answers from a pre-indexed library of authoritative source documents. It is not a generative AI chatbot, a cloud service, a subscription, or a connected platform.

The product is designed to operate without internet access. It does not require an account to function. It does not call external servers during normal operation. Updates, when available, are optional and user-initiated.

Off-Grid AI is a knowledge reference tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, engineering, or emergency services. See Section 6 for the full limitation of liability and disclaimer.

02   Eligibility & Acceptance

By purchasing or using Off-Grid AI, you represent that:

◆ You are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

◆ You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

◆ Your purchase and use of the product complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

◆ You are not purchasing on behalf of any person or entity for purposes that violate applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion, including orders that appear to involve resale, fraud, or prohibited use.

03   License & Permitted Use

Grant of License

Upon purchase, Mountain Ready grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the Off-Grid AI software and its bundled knowledge library on a single device for personal, household, or organizational preparedness purposes.

Permitted Uses

◆ Personal and household preparedness reference

◆ Organizational emergency planning (non-commercial)

◆ Field reference in grid-down or austere environments

◆ Educational and training use within your organization

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

◆ Reproduce, copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or knowledge library in whole or in part

◆ Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the knowledge corpus or model weights

◆ Remove or circumvent cryptographic signatures or integrity protections

◆ Use the product to provide paid professional services without a separate commercial license

◆ Transfer your license to another individual or entity without written consent from Mountain Ready

◆ Use the product for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

Breach of these license terms results in immediate termination of your license. Mountain Ready reserves all rights not expressly granted.

04   Knowledge Library & Content

Source Material

The Off-Grid AI knowledge library is built from authoritative public-domain and licensed sources including military field manuals, government public health publications, engineering references, and medical handbooks. All sources are cited within the system. A source list is available at offgridai.io.

Scope of Content

The knowledge library covers preparedness domains including water systems, food preservation, field medicine, shelter, firecraft, communications, navigation, sanitation, tools, logistics, and security. Content scope is defined by the Core v1.0 specification. Expansion Packs extend coverage into additional domains.

Content Accuracy

All content is drawn from the cited source documents and is not generated, extrapolated, or invented by the AI system. Where source documents contain conflicting guidance, the system surfaces both positions rather than resolving them. Mountain Ready does not warrant that all source content reflects current best practices, as some reference materials are historical or field-oriented in nature.

Content Updates

The Core Brain is designed to function indefinitely as shipped. Optional knowledge updates may be released and are available at offgridai.io. Updates are never automatic. Mountain Ready has no obligation to update the knowledge library on any particular schedule.

05   Medical & Safety Disclaimer

Important — Read Before Use

Off-Grid AI contains field medicine, trauma care, and health-related reference content drawn from military and public health sources. This content is provided for informational and preparedness reference purposes only.

The medical and health content in Off-Grid AI:

◆ Is not medical advice and does not constitute a provider-patient relationship

◆ Is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment

◆ Is designed for reference in austere, grid-down scenarios where professional care may be unavailable

◆ May describe procedures that deviate from current clinical standards — this is explicitly labeled within the system

◆ Should never be applied when qualified medical care is available and accessible

Mountain Ready expressly disclaims any liability for outcomes resulting from the use or misuse of medical content contained in Off-Grid AI. In any situation where professional emergency services are available, contact them immediately.

06   Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

As-Is Provision

Off-Grid AI is provided "as is" and "as available." Mountain Ready makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the product will be error-free, that the knowledge library is complete or current, or that the system will perform without interruption on all hardware configurations.

No Liability for Outcomes

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mountain Ready, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and licensors shall not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from:

◆ Your use of or reliance on information contained in Off-Grid AI

◆ Application of field medicine, engineering, or survival procedures referenced in the product

◆ Failure of the product to perform in a particular environment or on a particular hardware configuration

◆ Any gap, omission, or outdated information in the knowledge library

◆ Product malfunction, data corruption, or hardware failure

Because some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability in such jurisdictions is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Liability Cap

In all cases, Mountain Ready's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase or use of Off-Grid AI shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

07   Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Elastic Thoughts, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, licensors, and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to:

◆ Your breach of these Terms of Service

◆ Your use or misuse of Off-Grid AI or its content

◆ Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

◆ Your violation of any third-party rights

08   Expansion Packs

Expansion Packs are separately licensed knowledge modules that extend the capability of the Core Brain. Each Expansion Pack is subject to these Terms of Service in addition to any pack-specific terms provided at the time of purchase.

Expansion Packs are licensed for use on the same device as the Core Brain under the same single-device personal license. Expansion Pack content is subject to the same medical, safety, and liability disclaimers as the Core Brain.

Mountain Ready does not guarantee that Expansion Packs will be available at any particular time, or that all planned packs will be released.

09   Orders, Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Mountain Ready reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent, resale-oriented, or otherwise in violation of these terms.

You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and its underlying processors. Mountain Ready does not store payment card data.

10   Shipping & Fulfillment

Off-Grid AI is a physical product shipped to the address provided at checkout. Shipping times, carriers, and policies are governed by our Fulfillment & Shipping Policy, available at offgridai.io/pages/off-grid-ai-fulfillment-shipping-policy.

Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Mountain Ready is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by the carrier after handoff.

11   Intellectual Property

All software, interface design, branding, system architecture, and original compilation of the knowledge library are the intellectual property of Elastic Thoughts, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret law.

Source documents included in the knowledge library are the property of their respective authors and publishers. Public domain materials are used in accordance with their public domain status. Licensed materials are used in accordance with applicable licenses.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in Off-Grid AI, its software, or its knowledge library.

12   Third-Party Links & Resources

The Off-Grid AI website may contain links to third-party websites including Mountain Ready's main storefront, source document repositories, and partner resources. Mountain Ready is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party websites. Links do not constitute endorsement.

13   Errors & Inaccuracies

Mountain Ready reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted. We undertake no obligation to update site content on any particular schedule.

14   Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the license restrictions in Section 3, you are prohibited from using offgridai.io or the product to:

◆ Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right

◆ Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or destructive software

◆ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data

◆ Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the website

◆ Impersonate Mountain Ready or any other person or entity

◆ Engage in any conduct that disrupts or damages the website or product infrastructure

15   Personal Information

Your submission of personal information through our website or purchase process is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at offgridai.io/pages/off-grid-ai-privacy-policy.

16   Termination

Mountain Ready may terminate or suspend your access to the website and your product license at any time, without notice, if we determine in our sole judgment that you have violated these Terms of Service. Obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination survive termination of this agreement.

You may terminate your relationship with Mountain Ready at any time by ceasing use of the website and product. No refund is owed upon voluntary termination except as provided in our Return Policy.

17   Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and the remainder of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

18   Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and Fulfillment & Shipping Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mountain Ready with respect to your use of offgridai.io and your purchase and use of Off-Grid AI. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings. The failure of Mountain Ready to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

19   Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Off-Grid AI shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Oconee County, South Carolina. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

20   Changes to These Terms

Mountain Ready reserves the right to update or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be posted to offgridai.io with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website or product following any posted change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
